Life...

What do you like to do in your free time? I literally have a minimal amount of free time... here I had a few minutes to myself.. kids asleep, no homework, and just relaxing which hardly ever happens. I am a busy busy girl always taking on more than I can handle. Sometimes, I don't think I would know what to do if I wasn't multi-tasking. My favorite thing to do when I am not on a being pulled so many directions is to sit a the computer with one headphone in, so I can hear my napping children of course, and listen to music, browse the web for inspiration. Sometimes the inspiration is for fashion, for my home, or just words of encouragement. Music is one of the best forms of relaxation for me. I <3 music. All kinds from all time periods.  Somedays simple is just best.

*My go to No Makeup Makeup:

Philosophy No Reason to Hide: Serum/Moisturizer

Rimmel: Stay Matte Powder (tiny tiny bit)

Lips: Sorry not sure but one of my go to tinted chap sticks.

Mascara: Loreal Miss Manga.

*This is usually all I have time for on work days however; due to NP school, my under eye circles are terrible lately and I have recently fell in love again with the Garnier roller ball (the tinted one with caffeine, sorry I don't know the actual name) for concealer. It feels so good and the caffeine really reduces puffiness and dark circles It is a great drugstore investment!

On the go!

Today, I seriously got ready in probably 15 minutes tops including my make up which took me 3 minutes and 36 seconds.. I actually timed it. Some days I really like to spend time doing my makeup and getting ready. On a daily basis I wear moisturizer and chapstick. Today I needed to do a few things and didn't want to spend longer than 30 minutes tops getting ready. I threw this outfit on and went about my day.   I have another Stella & Dot Necklace on.  It is the Aria Pendant Necklace. I paired it with a white and black lapel blazer with a simple graphic tee-shirt I got for maybe 7$ at TJ MAXX.  The blazer is last season (Forever 21) and just some ripped up jeans and black booties. My glasses are Michael Kors and yes they are prescription. 

Hair and Makeup:

I decreased time by using some dry shampoo brushed it out and followed with some hair exstensions from Sally Beauty Supply (It took less than 5 minutes to clip these bad boys in).  They were already curled. I clipped a tiny piece back and that's all!

Makeup: 

I seriously thought about filming this to prove it took under four minutes. It seems like a lot of product but it can be used so quickly, you don't need any brushes if you don't want and I skipped the eyeshadow. Wasn't necessary for today!

Saturday Shipment!

Today is Saturday and I got a Shipment of Stella and Dot jewelry! I just love it. My necklace can be worn 5 different ways. If you don't know, I am currently in school working on my Post Master's Degree. I just signed up to be a Stella and Dot Stylist, I have no idea what I am doing but I love fashion and it is fun.   I have just a little over a year to obtain my degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have babies, I work full time, and pretty much have through every degree I have obtained. It is HARD HARD work and I am tired, stressed, and have many tearful days.  Today has been one of my most trying days in a while just ask my husband. I just became friends with such and inspiring woman. Theresa.  The irony behind this friendship is indescribable.  She encouraged me today to take a break, get fixed up and have some fun! Isn't it amazing what a little hairspray and jewelry can do for you.  Normally, I am in my jammies with two precious babies attached at each hip. The way I prefer to be on a normal daily basis. Sometimes, however; I could use a little sprucing and pampering. I love the way the Stella & Dot necklaces can be layererd.
